Join us with the Chicago Teachers Union as we honor the life and legacy of Beatrice “Bea” Lumpkin.

Bea was a CTU member, educator, labor organizer, and steadfast advocate for working people who dedicated herself to building a stronger labor movement and a more just world. From organizing on factory floors as a teenager to remaining active in CTU’s Climate Justice Committee in her later years, Bea led with conviction, courage, and an unwavering belief in collective action.
